Our Building Permit Process
Step 1
Fee proposal
Request a Quote on our website with a brief description of the proposed works and any accompanying documents you have on hand.
Step 2
Apply for the Building Permit
Once you have accepted our Fee Proposal and gathered the required application documents, you can submit your application via email to reception@codehq.com.au.
Step 3
Request for Further Information
Once submitted, our technical staff can then begin assessing your application against relevant legislation, Building Codes and Australian Standard. Once our assessment is complete, should we require further information, you will be provided with a list of items/documents that we require to issue your Building Permit.
Step 4
Building Permit
Now that we have all required information, we can proceed to issue your Building Permit which will allow you to commence building works.
Step 5
Mandatory Inspections
Your Building Permit will list the mandatory stages where you will need to notify us and arrange an inspection before works progress any further.
Step 6
Completion
Once works are complete and all inspections have been approved, we can now issue you with an Occupancy Permit or Certificate or Final Inspection (depending on the scope of works).
